das Jahr 2011 hat f=C3=BCr die GEMA mit einem ausgesprochen positiven Er=
eignis begonnen: Am 12. Januar hat eine au=C3=9Ferordentliche Mitglieder=
versammlung mit =C3=BCberw=C3=A4ltigender Mehrheit eine Neuregelung der =
Verteilung au=C3=9Ferordentlicher Einnahmen beschlossen. Konkreter Anlas=
s waren Nachzahlungen der ZP=C3=9C, die diese aus der Ger=C3=A4teabgabe =
f=C3=BCr PCs f=C3=BCr den Zeitraum 2002 bis 2007 erhalten hatte, an die =
GEMA in H=C3=B6he von rund 47 Mio. EUR.
Im internationalen Musikmarkt ist traditionell zu Beginn des Jahres die =

<p>das Jahr 2011 hat für die GEMA mit einem ausgesprochen positiven Ereignis begonnen:
Am 12. Januar hat eine außerordentliche Mitgliederversammlung mit überwältigender Mehrheit eine Neuregelung der Verteilung außerordentlicher Einnahmen beschlossen.
Konkreter Anlass waren Nachzahlungen der ZPÜ, die diese aus der Geräteabgabe
für PCs für den Zeitraum 2002 bis 2007 erhalten hatte, an die GEMA in Höhe von rund 47 Mio. EUR.</p>
<p>Im internationalen Musikmarkt ist traditionell zu Beginn des Jahres die Musikmesse MIDEM eine feste Größe.

Eigentlich wollte er professioneller Cricket-Spieler werden, doch sehr zur Freude seiner unzähligen Fans hatte das Schicksal anderes mit Howard Carpendale vor.
Seinen musikalischen Erfolg verdankt der gebürtige Südafrikaner aber natürlich nicht nur dem Schicksal, sondern vor allem seinem Talent, seiner unverwechselbaren Stimme,
einer gehörigen Portion Charme und nicht zuletzt unermüdlicher Arbeit, der wir unzählige unvergessliche Melodien verdanken.
<br />Am 14. Januar feierte das langjährige GEMA-Mitglied Howard Carpendale seinen 65. Geburtstag – wir gratulieren!
