Dear students, Ladies and gentlemen, On behalf of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), it is my great pleasure to welcome you to our university and to the historic region of Franconia here in northern Bavaria. As the International Program Director and a Professor of Computer Science, I am especially honored to host this summer study group of twenty outstanding students from China, most of whom are pursuing degrees in medicine. Your visit reflects the growing academic collaboration between China and Germany and symbolizes the importance of cross-cultural, interdisciplinary learning in today’s globalized world. This program is proudly hosted by FAU, with the kind support and collaboration of Goethe University Frankfurt, Heidelberg University, and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Together, we aim to provide you with a rich and diverse experience that spans different regions, research environments, and academic strengths across Germany.
